Sindh Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Thursday approved nine development schemes worth Rs 10.310 billion. These schemes were approved in the meeting of PDWP of current fiscal year 2018-19, presided over by Chairman for Planning & Development Board Muhammad Waseem. Out of nine schemes, three schemes were approved for period extension which includes establishment of women development complex at Sukkur worth Rs 210.307million, one in livestock &fisheries and one in forest & wildlife.

Two schemes other than ADP schemes approved were related to home department Sindh. These include construction of malkhana at city court Karachi ground floor to second floor worth Rs 29.846 million. Four ADP schemes were approved with one in health sector, which is extension of services of SUIT Karachi worth Rs 3243.370 million. One scheme approved in local government sector, one in agriculture and one in school education. During the meeting, the chairman directed all the administrative secretaries to ensure timely completion of the schemes with required quality as per approved scope so that benefits could reach to the common man.
